Refunds

Last updated: 25 August 2026

Skemia is sold as a monthly or annual subscription, in United States dollars, to customers anywhere in the world. This page explains when we refund a payment and how to ask for one.

Try it before you pay

Every account starts with a 7-day free trial. We do not ask for a card to start it and nothing is charged during it, so you can judge the product properly before any money changes hands.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from your billing page. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your paid access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for, because you paid for it. We do not refund the unused part of a period you chose to leave early, except where the law says we must.

When we do refund

  • Charged in error. If you were billed twice, billed after cancelling, or billed on a plan you did not choose, we refund it in full.
  • A fault on our side. If a technical problem with Skemia stopped you using a meaningful part of a period you paid for, contact us and we will investigate and refund where the fault is ours.

Your statutory rights

Consumers in the United Kingdom and the European Union keep their statutory cancellation rights, and consumers elsewhere keep whatever rights their own law gives them. Where those rights apply, they override anything on this page.

Who processes your payment

Payments are processed by Creem, which acts as the merchant of record. Creem is the seller named on your invoice, it collects any VAT or sales tax your country applies, and it may issue a refund directly to you under its own buyer protection terms.

How to ask

Email info@skemia.co.za with the email address on the account and roughly when the charge happened. We aim to answer within two working days.
